I am actively involved within the Association for the Study of Higher Education (ASHE) where I have served on the programming committee, a program reviewer, conference discussant, and actively involved with the Council on Ethnic Participation (CEP). I am currently chair elect for CEP. I also served in ACPA: College Student Educators International (ACPA) for over 10 years. As an ACPA member, I had an opportunity to serve in a variety of leadership roles including a directorate member and the chair for the Coalition for Women’s Identities, a member of the Deaf Cultural Initiative research team, and a member of the Equity & Inclusion Action Committee to just name a few. On campus, I am involved with a variety of campus committees, including the Black Student Success Council and a faculty advisor for student organizations. Off campus, I am involved with the National Black Deaf Advocates.
